Facebook Messenger gets chatty with iPhone 5 Facebook has tweaked its Messenger app for iOS, adding support foriOS 6 and theiPhone 5, and also a swipe-left feature it had earlier shipped to theAndroid app, along with other changes.

The updated app, released yesterday, lets users swipe left anywhere in the app to watch who's signed in and send a voice message. Which feature found Android a good week ago, on September 20.

The chat interface been specifically given a makeover with speech bubbles; some bug fixes appear to have been made; and, with regards to the iTunes Preview page on the app, the update brings "improved speed and reliability."

Facebook recently said it's going to update its mobile apps case for nexus 4 frequently, promising iOS updates every two months and Android updates every 30 days.

The update is for sale to the iPhone, the iPad, and the ipod itouch.
